Hey;
New mod caused some major problems on local machine. Can we do away with it?
Just jumped on the server. Noticed the new mod. Played for a couple hours and noticeable performance issues on my local machine with after the cross aberation mod was installed. I played for 1.5 hrs before it iced my pc. Had to hard reset to get my pc to respond, as I couldnt kill the game or its task through the task manager. Would put more specific performance stats, but I went from having a few gigs of ram left over after running ARK yesterday, to where I have 131mbs of ram free. I run pretty much the same programs day in and out, and it was never this bad. Not sure if others will experience it as well, but I just wanted to put this out there as I assume most of us have yet to explore this new mod, so no real risk of removing it as of yet.

This is mainly directed to those that have D3 (Diablo 3) and just need Reaper of Souls expansion, but check it out if you are interested. There will be a new patch and season starting in the coming months, so more content and a new class on top of the game already. You can get it via blizzard site or the battlenet launcher!

Hello all,
Just repeating some information Jason passed onto me, and I thought it was a good idea to put it down somewhere, so why not here!
This fix isn't guaranteed to resolve the issue, but can alleviate the problem enough to play until further notice, and it works with all servers!
Follow the steps below!
1. Simply go to:
- C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA
2. Delete the following files:
- ArmA2OA.mdmp
- ArmA2OA.bidmp
- Squads folder
- MPMissionsCache
*Tip: If you wish to better report the error you are experiencing, delete the following file, and once experiencing another crash, feel free to pass it on so the issue can be isolated!
- ArmA2OA.RPT
**Warning: DO NOT DELETE THE BATTLEEYE FOLDER!
Doing so may require re-installing BattleEye, which itself may be a hassle. If you have issues, review the relating post in the Tech Support forum.
After this, you are good to go, reload in and you should download a new mission file, and hopefully be able to play at least for some time!

Hi all,
This issue has been occurring quite frequently in the past few months, so I decided to make a short post on how to manually update BattleEye in case of failure.
Follow the steps outlined below for best results:
1. Go to BattleEye site here: http://www.battleye.com/download.html
2. Scroll down to Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.
- Select "BE Client for Windows (32-bit)" .dll file
3. Now, when asked where to place said file, locate these two paths and overwrite the already present .dll file with the new one.
- " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye "
- " C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye "
*Tip: in case of slow internet, upon downloading the .dll once, you can copy and paste it into the other location to save time.
4. Once you have these files, launch the game to confirm. You should be set.
Some key reminders:
- Save on the wait time, you can do this immediately rather than waiting.
- Back-up previous versions just in case.
If you have any issues, just ask around!
