Vehicle Space

With the way Arma 3 handles vehicle space, as in its just a bar that fills when you plonk stuff in. I thought I'd do a rough guide as to what a vehicle can hold.

I tested all these vehicles with a MK18 ABR 7.62 Rifle (with no attachments as that is more weight) which almost fills an empty Assault pack (Coyote). Note that the MK18 is a medium size gun. LMG's for example will take up more space, SMG's will take less. This guide is just to give a good idea of what you can drop into your vehicle.

I've spoken with Nimda (as per his suggestion of a YouTube account in a previous post). So I said I would create a BHOP/OGG YouTube account (much like I did with Facebook) and I'll upload some of the videos I have stashed (NO not those kind..).

Currently the vids are on My own YouTube account but that won't help spread the word. With any luck this will help spread the gospel.

I've noticed that the PVE server of late has shockingly low player figures, while BHOP is doing better. Now granted I've only been back a week or so, but I wanted to make some suggestions to help the community out.

The biggest issue we face is that the gaming industry is currently full of survival games. Tons of the things have been launched on Steam green light, a lot of them are shite might I add. Still you have some that show potential and that's one of the issues.

We need to use our Facebook more. Listing all our Mods and scripts would be a good start. Looking at the list of scripts we have some great ones on both servers. We need to make sure the splash screens on both servers are up to date with regards to the scripts we use.

Its extremely difficult to suggest a good plan to get more players on the servers. If it was easy we would have done it already. When I think of some other ideas, I'll post them.

DayZ Commander has updated to 0.9.1.95 You will be stuck on a previous version of Arma 2 and cannot update to the required 112555 version. You need to go back to the version 0.9.1.91 of DayZ Commander.

Find 0.9.1.91 version of DayZ Commander Here..

Uninstall DayZ Commander and reinstall it by using the 0.9.1.91 version

Your DayZ Commander will automatically update to the 0.9.1.95 version. You should now be at the required 112555 version of Arma 2.

Uninstall DayZ Commander and reinstall it by using the 0.9.1.91 version.

Before you open DayZ Commander (again lol), right click dayz commander > open file location > pending update> delete dayzupdater and viola.

Be sure to add to the Additional launch parameters (under settings tab)

-mod=@dayz_epoch;

This will force Epoch to boot always.

Also note that you have to add the server via IP to favorites (it'll be grey but you can connect, it wont say what the server is, it will list as the IP only)

This worked for Me.

[How to get DayZ Commander to work again!]

Righto, as many of you know Dayz Commander is broken and requires you to keep it open once you have got it to work, not anymore.

Here a step by step guide on how to get it back to 112555 and then stay there even when you close Dayz Commander and reopen it.

Step 1: Open Steam right click on Operation Arrowhead

Step 2: Click on Properties

Step 3: Find tab called Updates

Step 4: Click on drop down arrow and put it to- Do Not Automatically Update

Step 5: Next find the tab called BETAS

Step 6: Click on on drop down arrow and put it as 1.62 - Older version of the game.

Step 7: Right click on original Arma in steam and go into Updates and do the same thing, Do Not Automatically Update.

Your game should do an update and you can close out everything when your done. The next issue you will have is DayZ Commander.

I thought it would be a good idea to introduce Myself.

My name is Kev, as My middle name is Terry I get called KT. I'm going to get round to changing that in DayZ as well as Teamspeak.

I'm from Liverpool in blighty and work at a Taxi office and only work weekends, unless I get begged to work extra lol. I'm quite fond of MMO games and have played an awful lot of them, maybe too many. I'm fairly new here but so far I've met some nice peps, lets hope that trend continues. Anyway TTFN!!
