Friday 6/16/17, The Grand Festival Grounds shall be hosting a TEAM COMBAT EVENT!!
Teams of 2v2 and 4v4. There will be both Blunt Weapon Combat, and the much requested Bloodsport.
Blunt combat, weapons and armor will be provided, and new to this tournament, arrows with blunt arrows will be allowed.
Each event will only have 1 winning team
Blunt 2v2 - Grand Prize of 2 warhorses, 2 sets of Regular Scale (q50), and 20s coins!
Blunt 4v4 - Grand Prize of 4 warhorses, 2 sets of Regular Scale(q50), 2 sets of Regular Chain (q50) and 40s coins!
Edged Weapons, Bring your own weapons and armor. Bows, crossbows, and arrows are allowed!
Edged 2v2 - Grand prize of 2 sets of heavy armor (Scale, Plate, or Chain, q50), 2 heavy warhorses, and 40s coins!
Edged 4v4 - Grand prize of 3 sets of heavy armor (Scale, Plate, or Chain, q50), 1 set of royal armor (Scale, Plate, or Chain, 50q) 4 heavy warhorses, and 2g coins!
All winners in Edge weapons, are entitled to the loot of the losers.
Bring your own armor and weapons. NO Naptha Pots, and NO Poisoned weapons allowed. Any other weapons are allowed including bows/crossbows/throwing blades.
Archery
The archery tournament will be a 1v1 competition with fairly simple rules.
- A coin toss will decide who fires first.
- Player A will call out their target in local, and hit it with an arrow. Player B must then hit that same target.
- If player B hits the target, it is now player B's turn to select a target.
- If player B misses, Player A is awarded a point.
- If a player fails to hit the target they called, no points awarded, and the other player gets to choose.
- Rounds will go until a player has reached 3 points.
1st Place Prize: Full Set of Heavy Leather Armor (q50), 1 Composite Bow (q100), 100 Bodkin Arrows (q100) and 50s coins.
2nd Place Prize: Full Set of Regular leather Armor (q50), 1 Composite Bow (q50), 100 Bodkin Arrows (q50) and 10s coins.
3rd Place Prize: Full Set of Novice Leather Armor (q50), 1 Longbow (q50), 50 Bodkin Arrows (q50) and 5s coins.
Main Event: Jousting
- 1v1 Joust. Bring your own armor, bring your own horse
- Jousting Lances Provided.
- 1 Point for a hit to the body. (Verified by admin combat log.)
- An instant victory and ownership of opponent's horse for a dismount.
- First to three wins the match. 0 points awarded for striking an opponent's horse.

Dane is in the process finalizing an OGG admin application.
Admin applications are available on the forum under Arma3 and Life Is Feudal. The LIF server has a moderator with @Dgalep , she pretty much just handles kicks/bans when I am not around, and occasionally helps out with server events and it works pretty well.

Renegades of Salvation have Officially Declared war on Greywood and all their subsidiaries, and Blood of Winter.
Open PVP among these claims is allowed during all times without RP initiation needed. There will also be marked/scheduled battlefields to further advance the war towards a final goal.
All rules involving warfare apply.

Due to a family emergency, the tournament had to be cancelled, I would like to thank members of the barony however for still hosting some games this weekend. As a thank you to our dedicated players, the tournament will be rescheduled for next Friday, with upgraded prizes.

This coming Friday (05/26/2017), At Festival Grounds and subsequently the first tournament of the year! The following events shall take place.
- Drunken Boxing
- 1v1 Unarmed, No Armor combat in the spike pit.
- Combatants will fight until a knockout
- No taunts, no prayers.
- Combatants must each consume 3 barrels of wine (provided by admin) before the start of the fight.
1st place in the bracket shall receive 5s, and their choice of 50 flax or 50 flux (quality 50)
2nd place in the bracket shall receive 2s 50c and their choice of 25 flax or 25 flux (quality 50)
3rd place in the bracket shall receive 50c and their choice of a bull, ram, or 5 chickens (quality 50)

I seek a new port to weigh anchor, and provide transport to and from the Trading Post dock. Please send word immediately if your people are able to accommodate such needs!
()Since I have expanded the dock at festival island, I am offering one claim a chance to have a teleport setup to take them to the dock already setup on the mainland, where the ship to Festival Island is. There are a few requirements to be able to claim this, and it will be a race. The first settlement to finish, will have the glory of a big shiny ship on their property that also has 3000 inventory space. This would be a good recruitment tool, since the new player spawn will soon be set to the Trading Post (mainland side from Festival Island.)
- Must have a "dock" (flattened land at 1.0 - 2.0 height map)
- Dock must have one side with 20 tiles touching water.
- Dock must be at least 4 tiles wide for complete length (for example, see docks setup at Festival Island and Trading Post.)
- Dock must have a monument at the end, that would cover the area of the ship and MUST be maintained to protect the ship.
- First claim to complete the project, gets the ship.
Private message via forum, or summon an admin in game when finished to complete.

And for clarification. The festival grounds and the dock, are neutral ground. If someone gets attacked there, the bears eat well....If someone starts an argument over a war there, the bears get fed...If players get attacked on their way to the festival grounds before the tournament, the bears and wolves get fed....maybe a moose too.
