Eject bodies from vehicle

Hi all

I had to AFK and believed I was in a safe location. I parked my vehicle in a hidden spot and when I came back it was blown up. Some random AI came by and nuked it on me which is part of the game.

What surprised me was that my body was trapped inside and nothing I could do would allow me to regain my gear and money. Is it possible to change the de-spawn time of destroyed vehicles from the map after xxx minutes to allow your body and gear to be recovered?  There are (quick google search) scripts which are available to eject your body but I can not vouch for there reliability.

I have learned my lesson and will now AFK outside of a vehicles, the loss of on my on-body possessions  of coin and purchased equipment has left me impoverished.

Simple answer for me would be to just log off.... 

 

If you log off, you wouldn't have to worry about thirst or hunger, either.
