  1. When I'm in central traders, I normally start losing frames a bit at a time, but its still playable. If I'm at central traders and Slums spawns? Single digit frames every time. We need AI island...
  2. Type: PvE Map: Altis or Tanoa (IMO anything that's been ported over from ARMA 2 sucks as 3/4 of the buildings aren't accessible.) Mods: Exile or Epoch, the rest as they are except for RHS. Maybe take a look at a few newer vehicle mods. I know there are a ton of new weapon mods. AI: Same as now. (Although once they start shooting people unseen from deep within the jungle, I think that will change. Remember, the AI can see you through the nooks and crannys of every tree and bush. They're basically aimbots with a difficulty setting. The new AI was made for Tanoa after all.) Others: Playing Exile on Tanoa is completely different than Altis. The vendors are solitary and spread over the whole map except for one large town located far to the southeast. Guaranteed this will jam most people together on that one island for a few months as they learn the map. Not a lot of cross country driving as the Tanoa is one giant mass of hills, so it's fly or drive on the main roads to get to missions. Like Exile, on Altis the respawn drops suck massive, hairy, unshowered donkey balls and you will need to rely on auto-run as your one and true friend while playing on the Tanoa map. It is a pretty map, which is a nice visual change from Altis, but I don't think PvE will flow to well. Perhaps have a 'Test Tanoa' day. Just the Exile mod and maybe missions as both are compatible with APEX, and let it run for 24 hours or so to let players see what they're getting into. Constantly reiterate you need their input. Then have them post their thoughts on the forums. I do think whichever you choose, X8 will be in his element, laughing with glee like a little child at a Donald Trump Christmas while listening to the endless lamentations of the players.

  4. Is it me or are they not working? I've been trying to put the square landing pad marker down for the last 6 hours on and off. Round landing pad won't install. Tablet won't install. Windsock for the landing pads won't install. I have about 10 or 11 items that can't be placed in total. That's 20k down the tubes give or take..
  5. People making the server decisions may want to think about adding new spawns and traders throughout the southern part of the map. Most people are congregating at central traders near spawns and leaving missions on the outskirts alone most likely due to the time it takes to return to the mission your shooting when killed, and then finding your main gun has disappeared after you've made the 10 minute run back. (That's not including float time from being air dropped.) Lets face it, trader placement leaves a lot to be desired. Only a few players actually use the traders to the far north and far west, again mostly due to the fact there are no missions or spawns near them. My guess after playing here for a week would be most of the vehicles and bases on the server are located within a few miles of the trader which is why the server starts lagging when it gets populated. Everyone and their vehicles are there. Someone started shooting from military hill this afternoon and once the tracers started flying FPS went down to single digits. The servers trying to draw EVERYTHING in that area all at once and chugging along. We need people to spread out more and get their bases spread out and not all massed in one area of the map. That will also help with the mad rush for missions right after server restart.
  6. Servers been lagging a bit when it starts loading up with players. Anything to help the frame rates..
